Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families? Join West Berkshire Council as an Intervention Worker in the Early Response Hub and play a crucial role in our Children and Family Services Service.
As an Intervention Worker, you will work under the guidance of the Assistant Team Manager to provide direct support and intervention to children and families.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting assessments and formulating appropriate intervention plans
2. Delivering evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes for children and families
3. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures
To excel in this role, you should have :
5. Experience of working with children and families in a social care setting
6. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
7. Strong assessment and analytical skills
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
