Team Leader | Reception | Liverpool | Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hrs | £27,810 per annum
Spire Liverpool Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Reception Admin Team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time
Working hours: Flexible hours between 6.45 AM and 21.00 PM Monday to Friday and Saturday 07.00 AM-18.00 PM (some Sunday working required). Minimum expected 3 late shifts per week (subject to change).

As Reception Team Leader, you will manage, monitor, evaluate and develop the effective, efficient and quality operation of the hospital’s reception team with a focus on providing excellent Customer Service.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited):
* To facilitate the delivery of quality reception and patient administration services with particular focus on providing excellent service to all the Hospital’s patients and consultants.
* Responsibility to provide training to all staff in the department in delivering outstanding customer service.
* Aid in developing and delivering the customer service standards, policies and procedures for the department.
* Support and ensure compliance of standardised department processes and procedures.
* Identify & review any departmental performance issues providing appropriate training and support when required.
* Competent in the management and use of disciplinary and grievance policy as appropriate.
* Continually review the reception team Rota ensuring optimum staffing levels are always balanced with activity and patient demand.
* Deliver an efficient and cost-effective reception service within Spire Liverpool and Penny Lane clinics.
Who we're looking for:
* Experienced in delivery of QI projects to make a difference to patients by improving safety, effectiveness and experience of care.
* High degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload.
* Basic knowledge of hospital systems, processes and products or demonstrate knowledge of the same in similar role.
* Must be able to deal, problem solve and understand and manage effectively the impact of competing pressures and conflicting priorities.
* PC literate in MS Office.
* Ability to work in a multi-skilled environment.
* Flexibility and adaptability to tasks and duties.
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with patient queries, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key requirements as is the ability to work to deadlines as required.
