Position Summary Consulting- Project Controller-Assistant Manager —Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited Our Consulting National Practice Operations team provides a range of support to our Consulting Business Leadership. Working closely with project leads, you will engage with a range of senior stakeholders supporting large & complex projects for Deloitte. Project controllers provide support for various large projects at Deloitte. This includes financial management and modelling, providing valuable insight and application of financial management processes. Project controllers will be responsible for supporting one or multiple and their teams. Process Responsibilities: Ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly reports of Controlled engagements are being sent to Consulting leadership team and being accountable for accurate forecast and visibility of team engagements. Extensively contribution to the quality improvement programs and delivering as per discussion with account leads. Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all account Leads and their teams Escalations to be handled on priority and timely updates to be posted to the Account leads until closure Review and provide analysis/commentary of all projects and group KPI’s to Account Leads and the PCG Lead. Monthly/Quarterly meetings to be conducted to discuss details of the quality misses by the team members. Overview and refresher trainings are conducted by the Senior team members, to uplift quality deliverables. People Skills Strong communication skills with sense of urgency is must. Provide ongoing coaching to direct reports relative to core work and professional skills. Ability to mentor junior resources allowing and advising their career progression. Support and engage in recognition of high performing individuals. Act as a role model for junior team members and inspire others to take positive actions. Drive initiatives working cross functionally to align with the vision of the larger team. Lead internal and firm initiatives. Participate in training engagements and share knowledge in a structural format advised. Mandatory and compliance and CE baseline assessment scores for self should be complete and maintained. Required CRE hours to be completed. Ensuring team is completing the USI mandate trainings (virtual and e-learning) To complete Biweekly Check-ins and coaching discussions. Also share documentation as per requirement. Work location: Hyderabad Shift timings: 6.30 AM to 3.30 PM Finance & Shared Services Australia The “Finance & Shared Services” team at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization in Australia with a wide variety of capabilities like management and financial reporting, accounts payable, debtor management, payroll, data quality, finance system support, IT services, Business Intelligence development, client and engagement acceptance, and client contract management activities. Key Skills Required: Strong business finance acumen Prior experience in engaging with other teams and communicating with senior stakeholders Prior experience delivering finance-related advice and operational support Ability to critically analyze issues and find possible solutions Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and proficient in other Microsoft suite programs such as MS Word and MS PowerPoint The individual should be able to do multi-tasking and must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines Able to work autonomously, highly self-motivated to work independently Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Proactive in all communications - Ability to document and communicate the results of reviews in an efficient and effective manner Strong communication skills—both verbal and written and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly with other team members Good telephonic skills as it is required to have weekly calls with various stakeholders. Candidates need to have client centric focus Basic PowerPoint skills is desirable Good MS Excel skills is a must. Proficiency in data validation, logical functions in MS Excel, ability to analyze large data in Excel and should be in a position todesign new reports in excel Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow work programs with a high degree of accuracy Ability to challenge the status quo and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement Qualifications Required Graduate/Post Graduate (B.Com, BA, BBA) with Financial Background and strong analytical skills Preferred 6- 9 years experience leading a team of finance business partners.
