Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of weekly and monthly freight accounts
* Group reporting on distribution and warehousing including development of management information as required
* Provide insightful analysis to help identify opportunities for cost efficiency, including gap up opportunities
* Support reporting of gap closure activities within the Logistics team
* Provide input to product costings for transport, warehousing and other logistics related costs, ensuring standards are updated accurately and in line with policy
* Own stock reconciliations for third party warehouses
* Prepare and/or review relevant balance sheet accounts
* Support and provide input to standardisation initiatives as Pilgrim’s Europe ways of working become embedded
* Attend and support meetings with Logistics management as required
* Provide pro-active input to developing and implementing improvement opportunities in logistics accounting and control processes
* Ensure compliance with all SOX and standard internal controls as required
* Support external and internal audit processes as required
* Carry out ad hoc projects as required
* Any other reasonable duties as may be required
Key Skills
* Part qualified (finalist) or qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
* Degree level education
* Minimum 3 years experience working in finance
* Experience of working in Supply Chain/Logistics finance ideal
* Continuous improvement mindset in processes and ways of working
* Good analytical ability
* Able to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
* Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
* Ability to travel across the group
