The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care. The Neuro-Rehabilitation service offers comprehensive interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs for both inpatients and out-patients. At present the Inpatients Rehab Unit can accommodate 45 patients with an average stay between three weeks and six months. About the role This purpose of this role is to clinically assess patients and apply for funding so that they can be admitted and supported within the rehabilitation unit. It requires a lot of relationship building with the multi disciplinary teams to make the recommendations for the treatment that is needed. Although predominantly based at The Wellington Hospital, travel is required to make assessments of potential patients and also to visit other HCA Hospitals.
