About Live Well Coordinator
What you'll be doing
As a Live Well Coordinator, you'll oversee the delivery, performance, and development of the Community Engagement team. This is a brand-new team in Live Well, and you'll be required to work with the local community to encourage residents into our stop smoking service and other lifestyle programmes that Live Well offers. As an effective leader, you'll be responsible for managing a team of Community Engagement Advisors, as well as developing strong relationships and referral pathways with other Leicester City Council departments, health partners, and third sector organisations.
To ensure the service is fit for purpose, you'll collect appropriate data and use monitoring and audit tools to understand the effectiveness of the service. You'll respond to complaints and escalated queries and resolve these in an efficient manner.
What you'll need
With previous experience of managing or leading a team, you'll have experience of working towards KPIs and developing services to meet the needs of the local community. You'll need to have a great understanding of the needs of diverse communities and a commitment to equality of opportunity.
You'll have strong influencing skills, proven experience of working in local communities, and will have the right blend and balance of people skills. You'll need to be comfortable in connecting with the wider community and develop strong partnerships across the city. In addition, you'll need to be able to listen, gather the views of local people, and feed these back into our wider programme of work. With a mature and calm manner, you'll be able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet set objectives.
