Job Title: Band 6 Physiotherapist - Wheelchair Service Location: Orpington Duration: 5 months Hours: Part-time, approximately 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Salary : £33.52 per hour, with a mileage rate of 45p per mile for patient visits About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Wheelchair Service team. This role involves face-to-face working only, providing essential wheelchair assessment and prescription services, as well as posture and special seating assessments for both adults and children. The successful candidate will work in various settings, including clinics, patients’ homes, and schools. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £33.52 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy: Assist in the implementation of therapy programs as directed by qualified therapists. Support patients in their rehabilitation and recovery processes. Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises with patients. Monitor and record patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising therapist. Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas. Provide emotional and motivational support to patients. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times. Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care plans. Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy: HCPC registration. Right to work in the UK. Full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes Experience working in a wheelchair service Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in a wheelchair service. Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
