Position: Support Worker
* Location: Church Stretton
* Salary: £23,264 per annum (pro rata)
* Hours: Part Time - Minimum of 24 hours
* Shift Flexibility: 8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm & 10pm - 8am (Sleep In shifts) across the 7-day week
* Driver with own vehicle preferred due to location of service
We are looking for Support Workers to join our service in Shrewsbury supporting a male adult in his own home who has an acquired brain injury and mental health conditions.
The person we support enjoys watching DVDs, listening to the radio, visiting the local chip shop and charity shop. He has interests in The Beatles, David Attenborough & Top Gear. We are looking for a Support Worker to assist in all aspects of the gentleman's life, including meal preparation and personal care.
Responsibilities:
* Support him to engage in all day-to-day living activities, including making full use of the community and beyond.
* Assist with social activities, and connect with family and friends.
* Support the management of finances.
* Maintain cleanliness in his home, and assist with shopping.
* Provide and encourage personal care.
* Enjoy what you do!
