Care Supervisor - Supported Living

Working for a reputable and established organisation who provide support and care to vulnerable adults with complex needs, learning and physical disabilities we are seeking a passionate Care Supervisor to join their team working within the supported living services. The role:
* Supervise and support a team of care staff in delivering high-quality care to individuals with profound learning and physical disabilities
* Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and effective environment for service users.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to the needs of each service user.
* Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress.
* Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Manage medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
* Assist the manager with the daily running of the service
* Act as a point of contact for families, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
* Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the team and among service users.
About you:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience in adult services, particularly in a supervisory role
* Strong understanding of medication management and personal care practices.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to manage resources effectively.
* Knowledge of care management principles and best practices.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
* Competence in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
