We’re currently searching for support workers to join the team with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support, enabling those we support to live their best lives. Welland House has an excellent reputation and a welcoming and friendly environment with a long-standing team that supports a fantastic group of individuals.
Welland House is a small care home for 8 people. The people we support at this service have been diagnosed with conditions such as Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Dementia, Down’s syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Full training and continual development is available to meet the high level of health care requirements the individuals we support need.
Welland House has excellent relationships with the local CTPLD and the Community Nursing Team, which ensures all needs are met in a timely manner. This collaborative approach ensures the people we support receive a high standard of individualised care. We have a well-established team with most staff working there for some considerable time; it is very much a home from home.
What our staff say:
“First and foremost, I love working here; we laugh daily. The people we support are amazing to work with. We go out every day doing fun activities; it’s not like work at all. Welland House is like a big family, and never two days are the same.”
