Daisychain Day Nursery in Melksham are seeking both full and part time fun loving, enthusiastic, dedicated, qualified Early Years Practitioners.
The successful candidates well join our well established ever expanding nursery, with its friendly, professional team ensuring each and every child that attends Daisychain receives the highest quality care with rich and stimulating play experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a safe stimulating and engaging learning environment for all children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences that promotes development within the seven areas of learning that is centred around the children's interests.
Observe and assess key children's progress keeping their individual online journals accurate and up to date.
Build positive relationships with children, parents colleagues and other professionals.
Collaborate with all team members to ensure a supportive and cohesive working environment.
Enjoy being outdoor, isn't afraid to get messy and above all have fun.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and families.
Hold a minimum of a Level 2 Early Years recognisable qualification.
Experience in childcare settings, particularly within early years education.
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
Ability to support a busy nursery environment while promoting positive behaviour among children.
Qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
A driving passion for nurturing children's growth through play-based learning experiences.
