The VSM WB Wing organization ensures the smooth flow of product and information End-to-End within the value chain to achieve on quality, on time and on cost WB Wings and ultimately contributes to the delivery of WB aircraft to the customer line and on to our Airline Customers. The Programme Managers within VSM WB Wing in the Filton Plant report to the Ho VSMWB Wing - Filton Plant.
The role partners the plant to ensure that the overall Plant and VSM industrial customer needs and financial objectives are achieved. Furthermore, Value Stream Management evolves the industrial system to enable future production rates, new aircraft development and the competitive challenge against the five-year ambition.
Responsibilities

9. Acts/plans ahead of the risk materialising and ensures stakeholders are communicated to in a proactive manner
10. Seeks opportunities and is able to challenge and propose alternatives to the status quo in order to move Airbus towards its ambitions
11. Drives a strong and fast decision-making process to address industrial opportunities, risks and shortfalls with the right level of resource and competence to get them managed effectively
12. Thinks "process" and prepares decisions in favour of the value stream and not a particular plant
13. Substitutes as required for the Ho VSM - Filton Plant, and collaborates with the local VSM leaders in Filton, Bremen, Broughton and the FAL to ensure a robust industrial process and the exchange of good practices to enable an improvement of the industrial process
14. Fosters multidisciplinary collaboration on site to support the operational success of the value stream
15. Translates the company/programme strategy for the local VSM team and the plant management team
16. Leads the Change Management process and End to End management of modifications within the Filton Plant
17. In the event of a QSR - a quality escape either from the Plant or from the supply chain - coordinates and prioritizes the Industrial rework to minimize overall impact
18. Coordinates overall business update and feedback loop process through regular A400M Programme Review Meetings (PRM)
19. Coordinates Quality Gate & Service Level Agreements through the A400M industrial system from Supplier to FAL
20. Ensures sufficient Budget allocation to manage the Business effectively - and monitors/aids control of adherence to Cost allocations
