Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Chatham. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of students.
The Role
As a Year 6 Intervention Teacher, you will:
Deliver targeted interventions to small groups or individual students, focusing on core subjects such as English and Maths.
Assess students’ needs and create tailored learning plans to address gaps in their knowledge and boost their confidence.
Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure consistency in teaching and learning approaches.
Monitor and track students’ progress, providing regular feedback to staff, students, and parents.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to help pupils reach their full potential.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
