We are excited to be recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Bradford based client, a global freight-forwarder. Our client is looking for someone with a background in import/export logistics to take on this new challenge. This person will be responsible for ensuring top-tier customer service for Overseas Agents, Import Clients, and selected clients. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining and developing business relationships. Why apply? Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Coordinator: Deliver 'VIP' service to external salespeople, clients, and agents. Handle customer queries via phone and email - managing customer requirements appropriately. Manage shared inbox and provide quotes and service information. Input customer bookings and liaising with customers, suppliers, and agents. Produce and send documentation, including bills of lading. Stay ahead of competition through research and networking. Skills and attributes of a Logistics Coordinator: Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude. Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and multitask. Strong communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Qualifications & Experience: Good education in Maths and English. Industry-related qualifications are preferred but not essential. Experience in import/export freight forwarding required.
