With the business turnover almost doubling in the past 12 months this is an opportunity for a safety professional with fresh ideas to join a forward-thinking, safety-conscious organisation and make a real difference as the sole health and safety professional. The successful Health and Safety Manager will receive up to a total remuneration of £65,000 Package depending on the experience level. On average the successful candidate can expect to work on a 50/50 split between office and site travel, predominantly covering sites across London’s Zone 1. As QHSE Manager, you will: Conducting hands-on health and safety duties including site audits, accident investigation and risk assessments. Delivering training, mentoring and coaching to on-site teams to drive forward the development of the organisation's health and safety standards. Working closely with all stakeholders and building relationships with them. Attending onsite and office meetings. Delivering toolbox talks to onsite teams. Maintaining internal management systems across 9001, 14001 & 45001. The ideal candidate will have: NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or Equivalent (essential) Experience within the Construction or Infrastructure sectors. Fit-out, Refurbishment, M&E or related sectors are desirable. Willingness to drive forward a positive health and safety culture with a pragmatic approach is essential.
