In early 2022 we established our Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) with the goal of adopting a more strategic and systematic approach to defining, measuring and strengthening resiliency across enterprise. Our vision is to be a true ‘all weather company’ that has a distinctive ability to prevent internal stress, recover from external stress and thrive in any altered circumstances.
As the Director of Process Engineering, you will be part of the ERO leadership, working closely with the Chief Resiliency Officer and the Executive Management Team to deliver at-scale change in our resiliency capabilities. In your role, you will support NT’s strategic resiliency agenda through the development of company-wide capabilities to effectively manage our value chains and associated vulnerabilities, risks and controls.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
1. Define process engineering methodology, standards and tools
2. Define the approach and the operating model to build the process engineering capabilities across the firm
3. Lead the delivery of the enterprise-level initiatives to complete value chain mapping and interdependency analysis for all NT legal entities across the globe
4. Put together a plan and execute Resiliency Stress Scenario testing for the critical interdependencies
5. Build out the scenario library and a horizon scanning process to identify potential scenarios of disruptions to the critical value chains
6. Identify and manage through process optimization opportunities
7. Operationalized Vulnerability Assessment and Management approach in each of the Business Units, including Issue Management / Risk Treatment
8. Create required training materials to embed Operational Resiliency Framework
9. Oversee the maintenance of the value chain and interdependency map
10. Report vulnerabilities, and actions plans arising from vulnerability management / risk treatment actions to governance
11. Run a continuous improvement and change management program
12. Manage the allocated capital, expense and resources
Skills/Experience:
1. Strong analytical skills – ability to structure and execute process mapping, analyses and assessment
2. Strong process design skills – ability to define target output for a given process and use various levers to re-engineer it to achieve those outputs
3. Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures
4. Knowledge of process engineering software systems
5. Previous experience with large scale change programs focused on process optimization
6. Experience with the establishment and build out of process engineering Centers of Excellence / hub and spoke operating models
7. Experience with relevant risk programs (e.g., stress testing, business continuity and disaster recovery, incident management)
8. Experience with risk remediation, including root cause analyses, control design and implementation
9. Ability to build and lead high performing cross-functional teams
10. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company coupled with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively various stakeholders
11. Management consulting experience
12. Several year's experience in the financial services industry
13. Experience with agile ways of working
