1. The Department
The Business Development and Fan Engagement department recognises the invaluable contribution made by every supporter to the ongoing success of the club. It has a strong relationship with its dedicated supporters while also wishing to continuously improve the connection between the club and our fanbase. The Club has various channels of dialogue to make it accessible and open to its supporters.
2. The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Liaison Manager to join our team based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. The postholder will be responsible for managing the club’s relationship with our fanbase and will be the regular point of contact between supporter groups and individuals. This role involves building strong relationships with supporters, providing consultation with fans on a structured and regular basis.
You will also continuously improve communication channels, working with all relevant internal stakeholders to develop a process/strategy on all Fan Experience matters, gathering feedback from supporters, and producing monthly reports on key matters.

3. The Person
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working in a similar Supporter Liaison role, ideally with a deep knowledge of the heritage, history, and values of the Club.
The postholder will have exceptional verbal communication skills that are clear, concise, and accurate, with the ability to speak in public forums. A good understanding of social media and fan forum channels is essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, mediate and resolve complex situations, and present reasoned ideas and thoughts.
You will have strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions quickly in a fast-paced operational environment. Additionally, you will be capable of managing difficult situations, requests, queries, and challenging enquiries in a professional manner.
