JOB TITLE: Junior Audit Analyst REPORTING TO: Audit Team Manager BASED AT: Kingsway Distribution Centre, Rochdale (Office Based) Main Job Purpose We are seeking a Junior Audit Analyst to join the Audit team within the Group Profit and Asset Protection department. Reporting to the Audit Team Manager and playing a key role in analysing data, whilst delivering high standards of service. We are seeking an organised and methodical individual who has strong attention to detail and has an interest in Audit processing and analysis. Ideally you will have an understanding of Microsoft office. You should have an analytical way of thinking with good communication skills. Duties include inputting audit results into the relevant Excel spreadsheets producing accurate company loss figures. The role would ideally suit someone with an inquisitive mind or previous experience in statistics and analysis. The ideal candidate would be able to work independently as well as work collaboratively within the team. You will be mainly building and analyse Stock Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), whilst ensuring any delivery discrepancies are recorded accurately and stocks amended from warehouse or store. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO; Build and analyse Stock Discrepancy Reports. (SDRs) Update existing reports. To upload excel files into database. Complete any ad-hoc tasks within your current levels of responsibility as directed by the department Manager and senior team. Operate total confidentiality with all information gained in respect of the company, its business or personal. To liaise with the APPMs or third-party counting company to ensure correct downloading of information and the uploading of any stock holding file is correct. To prepare and ensure that all data information is inputted prior to a stores audit. To complete Adjustments from audits and incidents raised. To operate day to day contact with company branches, assisting with queries and carrying out tasks as required.
