What You’ll Be Doing: Account Management Take ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow accounts and secure new business. Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor, proactively addressing client needs and providing solutions that align with their objectives. Manage budgets, timelines, and expectations to ensure smooth project delivery. Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing & new client accounts. Leverage client insights to support the development of new service offerings and revenue streams. Work closely with the sales and leadership teams to drive agency growth through strategic client expansion. Client Retention & Upselling Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships. Identify opportunities for repeat business and upsell additional services by demonstrating value and innovation. Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gauge satisfaction and proactively address any concerns. Proposal & Pitch Support Collaborate with creative & operations teams to craft compelling proposals tailored to client needs. Assist in the preparation and delivery of client pitches and presentations. Ensure that all proposals align with client objectives while showcasing MGN events’ capabilities and unique offerings. Market Insights & Reporting: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to provide strategic recommendations. Track and report on client account performance, analysing data to inform decision-making. Provide insights to internal teams on market dynamics and client needs to enhance service offerings. Relationship Development: Establish and nurture relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as their strategic partner. Facilitate networking opportunities and maintain an active presence within industry events and forums. Foster internal collaboration across departments to ensure a seamless client experience. What We’re Looking For: A proactive, results-driven individual with a “can-do” attitude 2 years of proven experience in account management within an event agency or related industry. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster trust and collaboration. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to think creatively and strategically. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM software (ideally Hubspot), project management tools, and Google Suite. Full UK driving license and access to a car.
