To build on our success, we are looking for a Senior BIM Manager to join our infrastructure team located at the Newark (A46) site office where Skanska is working alongside National Highways to deliver the design and build of road upgrades. This role’s purpose is to lead digital integration and adoption on key projects across the infrastructure portfolio.
You will:
1. Be responsible for digital integration and development at a framework/project level.
2. Lead department level engagement sessions to develop the best fit solutions for Skanska and the UK.
3. Liaise with key stakeholders and BIM team to ensure best practices, innovation, and improvements.
4. Report on project performance and digital delivery adoption to Head of BIM.
5. Define and implement strategies and procedures that align with BIM/Skanska/UK standards, taking responsibility for the completion of the BIM Execution Plan.
6. Undertake project level recruitment, supervise projects, and secure resource.
7. Be responsible for sharing and managing project models, information systems, and digital design control procedures.
We’re looking for:
8. Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or appropriate professional qualification.
9. Thorough knowledge of the strategic development and implementation of BIM on a project and corporate level.
10. Knowledge of the UK BMI Framework: BS1192, PAS1192 and ISO 19650 suite of standards and Government Construction Strategies.
11. Experience with 3D modelling systems.
12. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
13. Strong administrative, planning and organisation skills.
14. A good understanding of engineering, data analytics and commercial awareness.
