SEN Learning Support Assistant in South Tyneside
Protocol Education is seeking compassionate, supportive, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with experience working with pupils either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are currently recruiting for LSAs to work in schools based in Sunderland and surrounding areas.
If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or provided general classroom support, we want to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will have:
* The ability to collaborate effectively within a team
* A passion for working with children with SEND
* A patient and empathetic approach
* Availability to start immediately
* Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant
Role description:
* Providing one-on-one support
* Facilitating engaging activities for pupils
* Assisting pupils in achieving their therapy targets
* Availability for at least three days per week
* Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
