Description
- Act as the role model in safety behaviour, driving a safety-first culture.
- Lead and manage all maintenance activities across the site.
- Focus on continuously driving and executing maintenance improvements to increase overall maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
Specific focus will be to:
1. Provide leadership in the application of all safety systems and processes (inc. PTW, confined spaces, risk assessment, PPE, work at height…).
2. Provide leadership to the maintenance teams, driving engagement.
3. Deliver site maintenance service within agreed budget levels.
4. Design and execute the maintenance strategy.
5. Design, execute and oversee continued improvement in maintenance practice using the following framework:
1. Maintenance plans based on equipment criticality.
2. Spare parts inventory aligned to criticality.
3. Support the CAPEX planning process.
4. Delivery of the yearly plan, on time and within budget.
5. Ensure compliance to all regulatory commitments.
6. Drive energy reduction programmes.
7. Scope, cost and manage all service contracts.
Profile
Experience as a Maintenance Manager within a manufacturing environment.
Project management experience essential.
Leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of paper mill activities and functions.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Ability to perform under pressure and in stressful situations.
Must have a positive 'can do' attitude.
In-depth understanding of engineering principles.
Experience in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, purchasing systems, and document control.
Engineering Degree or equivalent with 5+ years' work experience in a similar role.
Job Offer
£55,000 to £65,000 plus package.
