Kingdom Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our dynamic and growing team in NHS walk-in centres in Warrington and surrounding areas. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and progressive healthcare environment. You will work within a variety of settings, providing care to both adults and children.
Key Responsibilities of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP):
* Conduct clinical diagnostics and assessments for patients in a walk-in centre environment, treating minor injuries and ailments
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients
* Prescribe medications (desirable, but not essential)
* Assess, diagnose, and treat minor injuries and medical conditions
* Support triage systems, with experience in this area being desirable but not essential
* Provide care to both adult and paediatric patients (desirable but not essential)
Required Qualifications and Experience of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP):
* Valid and up-to-date NMC Pin number
* Qualified Band 6 and Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
* Experience working in Walk-in Centres or Accident & Emergency (A&E) settings is desirable but not essential
* Previous experience in clinical diagnostics, assessment, and treatment of minor injuries and ailments
* Prescribing qualifications are desirable but not essential
* Triage skills are highly desirable but not mandatory
* The Trust will also accept ANPs with GP experience and paramedic qualifications
