Position Summary Why join our team? This role will be responsible for the acquisition of new SMB (50-250 employees) business accounts for Samsung’s direct sales channel smb.com Reporting to the MX B2B Director the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new direct business to Samsung through the SMB market. This will include new business customers previously identified by the SMB call centre and business website as well as acquiring new customers via new channels to market. Focus will be on Samsung’s core mobile portfolio of smartphones, tablets, PC’s and wearable products. The role will also support business conferences and partnerships operated by all division of Samsung UK to engage potential customers for SMB.com with a specific focus on MX products. Role And Responsibilities Your key responsibilities Contacting new end users with a view to promoting / selling Samsung portfolio. Contacting SMB customers across the South of England through in person visits, telephone and email communications. Identifying and fulfilling customer requirements using a structured sales process. Developing, managing, and converting a dynamic opportunity pipeline to drive revenue growth. Building strong and valuable relationships across the Samsung B2B, Mobile and Service divisions to support customer acquisition and growth. Educating and enabling end users on the Samsung process, portals and portfolio. Accurately recording deal information and updating systems on progress throughout the sales cycle. Achieving and exceeding sales targets. Regularly communicating with end customers to progress Samsung business. Attending regular team checkpoints. Liaising with finance and marketing to keep business transactions compliant. Engaging end users with Samsung events and enablement sessions. Accurately updating forecasts to the wider business. Supporting end users with demonstrations of the products. Updating data via excel / salesforce / GSCM (internal to Samsung). Gathering share of wallet data from end users in the UK. Working independently with indirect reporting lines within Samsung UK. Ensuring Samsung increases share in dedicated accounts. Representing the brand at trade fairs to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Carrying out additional responsibilities / duties as required. What We Need For This Role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Strong sales background with proven results in acquiring and growing business customers Proven ability to significantly ramp revenue / units within end customers Self starter with the ability to generate opportunities from a variety of sources including sales leads, customer events, partnerships, existing relationships and Samsung's existing business base. Experience working within IT technology and telecoms sector (ideal) Experience working within a SMB customer environment Proven communication skills working across multiple departments A strong understanding of Excel A history of accurate forecasting High attention to detail Strong financial planning Experience in bid management or pricing would be advantageous Experience in SFDC would be an advantage Experience of working within a fast-paced environment The role will be hybrid, working in Chertsey and Field Sales Across South of UK What does success look like? The main objective of the role is to manage Samsung growth in UK channels, end user. Work with End users, Channel, Supply Chain and Product Management to produce effective and accurate forecast to enable growth within the end customers. Be a key product champion for Samsung products both internally and externally End user sales and new business account registrations Achieve sales profitability targets through effective pricing strategy, data analysis, trend identification and promotion optimisation Achieving targets set by the business Working within agreed response SLA’s Accurate tracking of quotations provided via SFDC Provide insight back from end users to Samsung UK Other duties as required Working in line with industry compliance and demonstrating integrity at all times The interview process There will be a minimum two-stage interview process, with potential for a third stage. The first stage will be a video interview with one or two members of the Samsung DTC team for a competency interview, where you will have the opportunity to ask further questions about the day-to-day aspects of the role. Please prepare your approach to the role and any questions you have about Samsung. The second stage will be a face-to-face interview with one or two members of the Samsung Leadership team in our Chertsey Office, where you will participate in a practical interview, such as a case study exercise and 30/60/90 Day Plan. In the third stage, you will meet with the Director of D2C Sales / Head of B2B Sales to discuss your experience, your 30-60-90 day summary plan (1 slide) for the role, and answer a small number of competency questions.
