We are looking for a Year 1/2 Supply Teachers to join various schools and provide high-quality teaching in Key Stage 1 classrooms on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who can step in and deliver engaging lessons while ensuring continuity of learning for young pupils. This begins February 2025.
Duties as a Year 1/2 Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum .
* Adapt to different classroom environments and follow the school’s lesson plans.
* Support children’s early learning in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy .
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour to maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
* Assess pupils' progress and provide feedback where required.
* Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition in the absence of the regular teacher.
Ideal Year 1/2 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and/or Year 2).
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum and phonics programmes .
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year1/2 Teacher.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to teaching.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
