Maintenance Engineer (Site Services) Trowbridge, Wiltshire. £36,000 (£40,000 total package- some weekend work mandatory paid at overtime rates) Monday to Friday 08:00- 16:00 Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2, 25 days holiday banks, pension, life insurance, on site canteen serving hot & cold food. Adept:us are excited to have partnered with an exciting FMCG manufacturing business. The business is long established in the local area and boasts a clean and modern facility. We are currently seeking a maintenance engineer to join the site services/production team. A large percentage of your role will be based looking after the utilities/site services, with some assistance within production, meaning we are able to employ someone from either a site services or production maintenance background. Training on site specific equipment can be given, along with further skills development (multi skilling training, BOAS certification etc) The Role: Working as part of an 18 person engineering team, your overall objective will be to ensure the efficient running of all site services/production equipment, some of your responsibilities will include: Reactive Maintenance: Swiftly respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure the equipment remains reliable and functions smoothly. Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and modification of electro-mechanical systems. Team Collaboration: Provide training, coaching, and support to production and operational staff. The Requirements: This role would suit someone who is either an already experienced/qualified engineer within the industry or someone who has a small amount of exposure to service/maintenance and looking to carve themselves a career within the industry, other requirements include: NVQ Level 3 qualified in a relevant engineering discipline. Mechanically or electrically biased, training to be given to compliment skill set either side. A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing faults.
