About the Role: Teach French across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love of the language and culture in our students. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Utilize a range of innovative and interactive teaching methods to develop students' fluency and confidence in all four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). Assess student progress, set challenging targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys. Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and resources, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with the latest pedagogical approaches. Participate actively in the department's extracurricular activities, including language clubs, trips, and events. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the school to promote a positive and supportive learning environment. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching practice and remain at the forefront of MFL education. Ideal Candidate: Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). Possesses a strong academic background in French, with a passion for the language and culture. Demonstrates a proven track record of teaching French effectively at all Key Stages. Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
