APM have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our finance department on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, the role holder will provide a high standard of service both internally and externally through the administration of the purchase ledger system and sales ledger system.
The role holder is responsible for ensuring that the purchase ledger is up to date with payments made within terms and the sales ledger is up to date with receipts processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
* Studying AAT (desirable)
Experience
* Significant experience of maintaining purchase ledgers
* Experience of maintaining sales ledgers
* Cashbook / bank reconciliation (desirable)
Skills
* Good PC skills including Word, Excel
* Ability to use IT packages relevant to the role
* Good level of numeracy skills
