Role Responsibility:
HARD FM MANAGER
Salary: £60,000 - £62,500 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UF
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Hard FM Manager on a full-time, permanent basis based at our site in Bridgwater.
The main aim of the role is to assist the Head of Technical Services in the Hard FM service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the Hard FM team, ensuring that the team have the correct resources, competencies and training to deliver the required PPM, reactive and scheduled tasks to the agreed SLA’s.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained, serviced and available
* Ensure PPM, Reactive and Scheduled tasks are completed in line with contractual requirements
* Ensure operating, maintenance manuals and drawings are maintained and updated
* Support the continuous improvement of the Hard FM team working collaboratively with the Service Leads
* Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels
* Build a credible relationship with the client
* Maintain a strong working relationship with the Head of Technical Services and deputise in their absence
* Work collaboratively with all G4S FM functions on the contract to influence and deliver agreed contract goals and objectives
* Assist the Head of Technical Services in producing timely and accurate management reports
* Ensure adequate staffing levels at all times on all sites
* Oversee recruitment, training, development and performance monitoring of the Hard FM team
* Coach, develop and monitor the performance of direct reports
* Engage regularly with the operational team and respond to feedback
* Assist in managing relationships with specialist third party contractors
* Compile contractual and company compliance documentation
* Carry out audits and develop action plans for non-conformance
* Ensure compliance with legislative and G4S and HPC procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Criteria:
* Strong people management and HR experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
* Ability to manage tight deadlines and changing priorities
* Relevant H&S qualification (IOSH, NEEBOSH)
Desirable Criteria:
* Higher Education Level qualification in a technical discipline
* CDM qualified
* FM/Building/Construction background
* 18th Edition Electrical qualification or recognised qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering
* C&G lvl 2 Plumbing & Heating
* C&G lvl 3 Refrigeration Air
