* Participate in the contract review with Plant Lead Engineer and interpret the technical specifications for the projects, confirming the civil design scope of deliveries and highlighting deviations compared to tender specifications.
* Responsible for the Civil Design deliveries within budget, scope, and time plan.
* Define the scope of work (SoW) for the department and the Civil Designer regarding engineering budget and project time schedule.
* Ensure that the Civil Design is done with consideration to applicable local standards, laws, and regulations.
* Responsible for the bill of quantities (BoQ) from the Civil Design 3D model.
* Lead and coordinate all civil design disciplines to facilitate an integrated 3D design as specified by the department's processes and relevant technical specifications.
* Secure input data and evaluate impact/consequences based on the change management process if input data is changed. Document changes in a traceable way and follow up that the design is done accordingly.
* In the case of project-specific new technical solutions, the Civil Design Lead needs to get confirmation on the new design from the TA/specialist.
* Review the project document list (PDL) and customer document list (CDL).
