The Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the market and customer orientation of Cytiva and its marketing teams by ensuring the dissemination and understanding of market, customer and competitive insight across the business. They will also enable the clear internal communication and understanding of Cytiva’s organizational response to that insight through its marketing, product management and commercial activities. This role works closely with the VP Marketing and Strategy and their marketing leadership team to develop and execute a cohesive communication strategy that promotes market orientation across Cytiva, beginning with marketing. The role demands a blend of strategic planning, tactical execution, and expert communication skills. This role will be based onsite in Amersham Place, Little Chalfont, United Kingdom. What you will do: Strategic Communication Planning : Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan that aligns with the overarching goals of Cytiva's marketing efforts. Internal Communication : Develop tailored communication plans to keep marketers and key Cytiva stakeholder organizations (product management, commercial, operations etc) informed about customer, competitor and industry trends in the context of business and marketing strategy, product development and success stories. Foster a culture of transparency and engagement by ensuring consistent and clear communication across all internal channels. External Communication & Advocacy : Occasionally craft and manage communication and executive advocacy for external audiences, including trade media, industry stakeholders, social media, and potential customers through working with the Director of Global External Communications. Content Development : Generate high-quality content across internal and external channels, including internal and external events, that effectively communicate Cytiva's market, customer and industry insights, breakthroughs and innovations. Ensure all content is consistent with Cytiva's brand voice and messaging guidelines. Monitoring & Reporting : Track and analyze the effectiveness of internal and external communication, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare regular reports to update the VP Marketing and Strategy and senior leadership on communication strategies' performance and outcomes. Who you are: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. A proven background in marketing communications, advocacy, or a similar role within science or technology industries. Demonstrated expertise in strategic communication planning and executing multi-channel campaigns, including proficiency using communication tools and platforms such as content management systems, email marketing and social media. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English ( with additional languages an advantage ), and the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences, along with strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
