There is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an innovative and driven Women and Girls' Development Manager with a collaborative mindset to maximise the opportunity for growth within women and girls' golf. They will need to understand the landscape and structures within the sport, the importance of influencing externally as well as being comfortable as the lead advocate within the organisation.
With focused investment, targeted engagement and dedicated resource, Scottish Golf has ambitious targets to improve female participation, instil culture change, modernise the game and create opportunities for female golfers of all ages and stages to reach their full potential.
Hybrid Working
Scottish Golf operates a hybrid working policy, where no more than two days a week are worked from home. Where staff have external meetings and events to attend, these are counted as office days.

This Scottish Government funded programme will deliver inclusive voluntary throughcare services across Scotland for men, women and young people serving a short-term sentence or following a period on remand. A collaborative and relationship-based partnership model underpins delivery to support to achieve positive outcomes for people and wider communities. Improving reintegration and wellbeing ultimately improves lives and reduces re-offending.
We are recruiting for a values-driven manager to help us deliver our goals across the Partnership. Your role will be to support co-ordination and delivery of the work of the partnership and support them to develop and improve the service. Working closely with the Head of Programme and governance teams, you will support the monitoring of the service across Scotland and help drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will support the partnership and spend time promoting the service to a range of stakeholders including Scottish Prison Service, judiciary and local services.
You will be a highly organised and self-motivated person with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be able to bring people together from different organisations to work in partnership and you will work with the people we support, to enable them to tell their stories and let their voices be heard.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping and delivery a new high-profile government funded project, that is truly making a difference to people’s lives.
This role will involve working as part of a dynamic national team, primarily remotely, with some work expected at our central Edinburgh Hub office and travel as required to support engagement events across the partnership. Being educated to at least SVQ level 3 or equivalent is desirable, together with relevant management experience. Applicants must be computer literate with proficient experience of Microsoft tools.

East Dunbartonshire Women’s Aid (EDWA) is looking for a passionate and skilled individual to lead our early intervention and prevention work with young people aged 11-18. This vital role aims to prevent domestic abuse by promoting healthy relationships and empowering young people to challenge harmful behaviours.
As a Children and Young Person's Prevention Worker, you will design and deliver educational workshops across schools and community settings in East Dunbartonshire. These sessions will address key topics such as healthy relationships, emotional well-being, and challenging misogynistic behaviours. You’ll also collaborate with schools and partner agencies to develop tailored interventions that inspire change and build resilience in young people.
The role involves developing creative resources, engaging with diverse audiences, and keeping on top of emerging trends like the influence of online media. You’ll provide post-session support by signposting further resources or referrals where needed and ensure robust monitoring and reporting to demonstrate the impact of the work.
Candidates should have:
* Experience in delivering engaging educational workshops tailored for young people in schools or community settings.
* An understanding of domestic abuse and gender-based violence, including how social norms and online influences contribute to harmful behaviours.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to connect with young people, professionals, and partner organisations.
* A deep awareness of teenage culture, social media platforms, and emerging trends—including the language young people use, key influencers, and digital spaces. The ability to incorporate this knowledge into workshops in a relatable and impactful way is essential.
* Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to create resources, track progress, and report on impact.
* A commitment to feminist principles and gender equality.
The role is based in Bishopbriggs but will involve work across East Dunbartonshire, particularly in schools. Attendance will be required at weekly team meetings in our main office in Kirkintilloch to fulfil collective management responsibilities. Flexibility and the ability to travel throughout the area are essential.
This is a new post and is currently funded by East Dunbartonshire Council through the Children & Families Wellbeing Fund for 1 year (after start date), with the opportunity to reapply in Year 2.
Posts are subject to a successful PVG scheme check, suitable references and completion of a satisfactory 6-month induction period.
You will work closely with the CEO and Co-ordinator team overseeing the smooth running of the Scottish Parent Academy as well as oversight to finance team.
You will oversee and develop the smooth running of existing systems and processes, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency.
You will support the development of our CRM system, including preparation of data as well as project management support. You will have experience in prioritising workload of others, strong leadership skills, database management and reporting, and using Microsoft Office suite and other IT packages. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are also required to thrive in this role.
As this is a national post, we are looking for someone who can work independently and quickly develop strong working relationships, as well as having excellent organisational and time management skills.
This role is for 12 months (probation 6 months) and will continue dependent on funding.

Scottish Women’s Aid has an exciting opportunity to join their communications team. This is an influential and dynamic position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Communications Lead shares responsibility for leading SWA’s communications work, campaigning, messaging, and delivering a media strategy in line with our strategic objectives.
Working collaboratively across Policy, Fundraising, member, and training teams at SWA you will co-develop and deliver a communications strategy, identifying the best ways to lever change through media campaigns around key issues for women, children, and young people experiencing domestic abuse. You will shape a wide variety of materials and outputs that support SWA’s broader advocacy and campaigning aims. You will devise engaging communications approaches and craft compelling content. This will include media responses, PR, press releases, and briefing notes as well as articles for a range of audiences comprising our network, partners, stakeholders, the media, government, and wider civil society. You will also co-curate our online presence, creating engaging content across a range of platforms, and be adept at analysing engagement metrics and evaluating impact.
