Air Conditioning Shift Engineer– £45,500 – Westminster
Location: Westminster
Salary: £45,500 Plenty of Overtime
Hours: 07:30 or 10:30, Finish 19:30 or 22:30
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Air Conditioning Shift Engineer to join a market-leading industrial engineering business at their prestigious site in Westminster. The company has invested heavily into the site and has brand new machinery. They are now looking to build an excellent engineering team to maintain it. Responsibilities
* Undertake all assigned PPMs and reactive works as issued via CAFM app promptly, completing them in line with contract KPIs and SFG 20 requirements.
* Perform fault finding and diagnostic work, utilizing test equipment and providing reports as required.
* Order materials for relevant repairs and servicing, and report any shortfalls to the Supervisor with suggestions for improvement.
* Manage workload according to the CAFM system requirements and ensure work orders are correctly closed off.
* Interact professionally with the client’s representatives, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Conduct general maintenance and maintain good housekeeping practices in workshop areas, managing tools and materials properly.
* Complete Safety Documentation Daily (Set to Work).
* Perform Point of Work Risk Assessments Daily (POWRA).
* Close PPM and reactive work orders on time, including closure notes.
* Ensure all required documentation, test results, and photographs are uploaded to the CAFM system.
Requirements
* At least 2 years of demonstrable experience as an AC/Refrigeration Engineer.
* Appropriate Level 3 (6187) NVQ / City and Guilds / Cat 02 Qualifications.
* Satisfactory F Gas Handling and Management certification (2079).
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Relevant PPM and reactive maintenance experience in a similar environment.
* Experience using a CAFM system on a PDA/Mobile device.
* Results and task-oriented with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good time management and organizational skills.
* Commitment to providing excellent client service.
