The Role : As a Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning in the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher to support individual students and small groups, ensuring they are engaged, motivated, and able to reach their full potential. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about working with young children and wants to have a positive impact on their educational journey. Key Responsibilities : - Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities. - Provide one-to-one or small group support for students, ensuring their individual learning needs are met. - Help students develop academic and social skills, fostering their confidence and independence. - Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment. - Carry out observations and assessments to track student progress and provide feedback. - Work with students with additional needs, under the guidance of the teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). - Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources. - Support students during break times and other school activities. You will need to: - Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. - Experience working in a primary school setting. - Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults. - Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students. - A team player who works well in collaboration with others. - A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
