Responsibilities within your new role as the Head of SEO
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing all aspects of SEO (strategy, technical, content, authority, and digital PR).
2. Overseeing team operations in the UK and offshore.
3. Establishing the SEO offering as industry-leading.
4. Handling team recruitment, development, and performance.
5. Ensuring financial and strategic growth while maintaining profitability.
6. Collaborating with sales and cross-channel teams to expand services, secure new business, and deliver high-quality work.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
1. 7+ years of SEO experience (preferably agency side).
2. Expertise across strategy, technical, content, authority, and digital PR.
3. Strong knowledge of SEO tools like SEMrush and Screaming Frog.
4. Experience optimising profitability and a proven track record of delivering results.
5. Excellent client relationship skills.
6. A solid understanding of SEO's interaction with PPC and social.
7. Proficiency in Google Analytics.
