The Role The Learning and Development Agent, reporting to the local Training Manager, is responsible for implementing all site training according to the guidance provided by the Cluster Training Manager. This role also oversees the governance of SOPs, conducts assessments, and maintains both training matrices and comprehensive training records. Salary Range: £25,191 per year. Key Accountabilities A ‘brand ambassador’ promoting the benefits of working for Sofina even once workers have started with the business. To co-ordinate and deliver a seamless on-site onboarding process which is inclusive of the following: Company Induction Behavioural Expectations Company Policies and Procedures Factory Tour Timely Allocation of Locker and PPE Ensure the timely allocation of new employees onto the factory floor, giving a full tour of the area of work. Providing employees with a detailed overview of the area Supporting employees in becoming integrated into their teams by introducing them to their Manager and their fellow work colleagues Providing a friendly and approachable disposition that alleviates new employees’ anxieties and makes workers feel valued and welcome Standard Operating Procedures And Briefings Working with the teams on site to support the creation of SOP’s, briefings and Risk Assessments Amending SOP’s when processes and machinery change to ensure employees are aware of any new processes to ensure we are legally compliant as well as working to the standards which are set out by our customers Ensuring SOP document control sheets are fully completed and SOP’s are tracked and reviewed in line with the Sofina review process Assignment of training codes to SOP’s and briefings to ensure all material can be tracked Supporting the teams on sites when creating briefings to ensure they are created at the standard we would expect Skills And Experience Required Experience of training co-ordination and delivery within an FMCG environment Evident confidence in presentation and communication with peer groups Attention to detail in record keeping Demonstrable positive attitude and training ability.
