Jenson Fisher are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our client in Glenrothes. Working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the business with a key involvement across accounts payable, banking and accounts administration.
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience in a busy accounts department and possess first class communication skills alongside strong attention to detail. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
1. Purchase ledger processing.
2. Posting bank transactions.
3. Invoice finance administration.
4. Daily use of Sage Accounts and Microsoft Excel.
5. Operating across multiple currencies including GBP, Euro and USD.
6. Reconciling bank statements
7. Providing administrative support to the finance team
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
8. Previous experience working in a busy finance department.
9. Excellent levels of accuracy when processing financial information
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
