The school provides a high standard of education for secondary students with Autism (ASD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), offering a structured and nurturing learning environment tailored to each student's individual needs.
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant (TA) to join the school on a day-to-day basis, with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will work across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), offering both 1:1 support and small group interventions to help students achieve their educational milestones.
This role also requires working closely with teachers to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment while confidently managing challenging behaviours.
- Experience supporting students with ASD and MLD.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Proven experience providing 1:1 support and leading small group sessions.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Support from a dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to guide you through the onboarding process.
