Assessor/Trainer - Property Maintenance and Carpentry
Reed Further Education is supporting a college in Cambridge in their search for a dedicated Trainer/Assessor. This role is crucial in providing high-quality support to carpentry and property maintenance apprentices, ensuring their success and timely achievement.
Annual Salary: £26,825 - £33,430 (pro rata)
Location: Cambridge
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent (22.5 hours per week)
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide high-quality support leading to the timely achievement of apprentices' goals.
* Form and maintain professional relationships with employers to facilitate effective training and assessment and ensure repeat business.
* Conduct regular learning reviews with apprentices and employers, setting and reviewing targets to ensure continuous progress.
* Assist in the onboarding process, including conducting interviews and induction sessions for new students.
* Deliver high-quality training sessions to support the wider learning and development of apprentices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience working within an apprenticeship delivery environment is desirable, but training will be provided for candidates with high levels of industry skills and knowledge.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to form professional relationships with employers and apprentices.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Commitment to providing high-quality training and support.
* Good IT skills.
