What you’ll be doing
You will be operating as a FrontEnd Engineer in a squad of 13. This is one of 6 squads in the tribe model. You'll be working on software that personalises the customers sales journey and ultimately this will drive revenue growth for the business.
You'll do this by.....
• Create scalable and quality Code.
• Collaborate effectively with your team members and share best practice.
• Sync with your manager on plans and help executing it within the Squad.
• Honest and proactive governance of technical roadmap for your Squad.
• Collaborating with Product Owner, Developers, Tester, Lead Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Deployment, Leadership team.
• Contributing to enhance the ecosystem you are working on.
• Ensuring strong technical standards in your squad and the right compromise between delivery and quality.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes where possible.
Specific Responsibilities
• Working in the Aimee Tech and Early Life Squad, working closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Engineers, BAs, QAs and Designers.
• Assist with the development of journeys within the strategic Messaging and Chat Platform – Sprinklr.
Key decisions
• Direct input on the architecture and strategy for Cloud framework and design system.
• Security, safety, and performance of live capability
Skills and Experiences
We are ideally looking for a Full Stack Developer who is happy working more on the FrontEnd than Backend or a FrontEnd Developer who has a good understanding of the SDLC and a customer focussed approach from gathering requirements through to releasing to customers.
Primary Skills
* JavaScript or Java
* HTML / CSS
* Test Automation experience with ideally Selinium/webdriver
* Version Control ie Git.
* Agile and Lean culture: Work to the standards set out in the squad, working and aligning with Scrum Master, Product Owner and Lead Engineer.
* Basic knowledge of structuring code with sustainable practices for scalability and maintainability.
