Adecco are proud to be working exclusively with an expanding company who are seeking a Transport Operator Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 p/a dependant on experience Working days: Monday to Friday Working hours: 8am till 6pm Duration of contract : Permanent Location: Stanford Le Hope Duties : Planning & checking routes Day 1, Checking, routing, maintaining & problem solving (see operator checklist/timeline) Liaising with fleet regarding services Liaising with port expediters/supervisors ensuring jobs are being dispatched Arranging parking & night out procedures Liaising with customer service and HR teams Skills: Knowledge of transportation regulations Flexible with working hours - may be required to be on call Ability to work in a fast paced environment Proficiency in VBS systems for ports, TOPS, and Destin8 systems. Previous experience working with containers is required.
