This is a rare and exciting opportunity to come and join Salford Community Stroke and Neuro Team as a highly specialist B7 physiotherapist.

We are a strong MDT comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, Dietitian, Nurses, Psychologists, Therapy Instructors/ Senior Assistants, Social Work, Assistant Practitioners and expert Administrative support.
We are a Green NCA accredited status team, our standards are high. We are committed to the delivery of high-quality patient centered care at all times – and how we can all improve this.
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and innovative individual to join our specialist service. You will have an extensive and varied background of neurology experience, ideally in Acute and Community, and Stroke and Neuro.
We offer:
• Varied caseload / diagnosis across both Stroke and Neuro
• Supervision of staff / students within Physio and the wider MDT
• Supportive and regular supervision

• Variety of settings to treat patients - home, clinics, classes, hydro

We are looking for:
• Experience mainly in Stroke and Neurorehab in community setting but ideally with some Acute exposure
• Good level of post graduate training in area of speciality
• Supervision of Band 6 staff and below
• Provide rich student placements as Clinical Educator
• Contribute to team development in own profession and wider MDT.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Highly effective communication
• Successful team player
• Ability to demonstrate drive and initiative
• Experience of service improvement projects
• Expected to cover weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
• IT skills applicable to the role
• Ability to cover the geographical footprint in Salford (this does not include public transport)
