Carters was originally established in 2014. Our leadership team now comprises of eight directors, including four Chartered Surveyors and a Chartered Accountant, who heads up the finance arm of our business.
Since our establishment in 2014, our client list has expanded via “word of mouth” recommendations/referrals and we now manage approximately over 2000 commercial and residential properties throughout England and Wales.
We currently employ fifteen staff including directors and, in addition, we have several consultants that work for us on a regular contracted basis.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Property Manager at Carters. The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of residential and commercial properties in Birmingham, the West Midlands and beyond. Some work from home is acceptable to accommodate flexibility.
Qualifications
* Property Management experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work alongside contractors and suppliers.
* Experience in managing residential and commercial service charges. Consideration will be given to candidates with only residential service charge experience.
* A good general knowledge of property laws and regulations.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Experience in budgeting and financial management.
* Attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A hands-on approach and willingness to travel to properties to inspect.
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A full clean driving licence.
