We are currently looking for Support Workers to join us and help us to realise our ambitions to support the residents of Darlington to be as independent and healthy as possible.
Our Reablement Team has undergone a significant transformation within the last few years, with an emphasis on maximising independence, delivering personalised outcomes.
Our priorities are focussed on supporting reducing isolation, delaying where possible the onset of support needs, supporting carers, as well as ensuring people are safe from harm.
Due to the success of the team, we are looking to expand our service.andnbsp; There are several posts available:
3 x 30 hours per week (Permanent)
2 x 24 hours per weekandnbsp;(Permanent)
Our main priority is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to join the team and we will provide you with training for all the required work tasks, as well as opportunity to shadow existing colleagues as part of your induction. Above all we are looking for people who:

We are a short-term service which provides you with the opportunity to work with new individuals who access our service for up to 6 weeks. The duties are varied and may include supporting with personal care, washing, dressing, showering, accessing the toileting, meal planning and preparation and medication. The role is extremely rewarding as you can make a difference to individuals using the service by helping them regain their independence. There are a range of shift patterns available including some weekend and Bank Holiday work. The service operates Monday andndash; Sunday 7.30 am andndash; 1.30 pm and 4 pm andndash; 10 pm.
