Located in Glasgow City Centre, Scotland, this role is suited to someone with a proven background in managing multidiscipline engineering resource for engineering and construction projects., As the EMEA Regional EDS Resource Manager, you'll manage the EMEA-based Engineering resource pool. Responsibilities include: staffing of appropriate Engineers for proposals and projects; monitoring and addressing your team's workloads and chargeability; training, development and facilitating career progression; forecasting project management staff needs; driving the hiring process alongside the hiring managers; and interfacing with Chief of Staff and global Engineer department heads as well as directors and solution leads You will be expected to have a working knowledge of PM workloads/capacity, competencies and gaps, and training needs. You will serve as a liaison to the global Engineering Department head(s) for team readiness, project audit requests, project reviews, Engineer goals, and year-end evaluations. Some travel throughout the EMEA region to BV offices may be required,
* Timely Engineering assignments to EMEA proposals and projects including inter-region and multi-country teams, in coordination with the project directors(s) and Chief of Staff
* Conducting or arranging training for Engineers
* Drive hiring process in coordination with the hiring managers (coordinating communications and approvals to open requisitions, job description writeups (in coordination with stakeholders), CV reviews, interviews, recommendations for hire
* Ensuring Tempus (staffing) input and maintenance by Engineers
* Development of staff including assessing strengths and weaknesses and providing training opportunities as needed.
* EMEA forecasting and succession plans
* Exportability/Chargeability for Engineers
Currently serving in an Engineering leadership role
* Significant experience in Engineering resource management
* Proven background or managing and leading teams of multi-discipline professionals, Proven background in managing multidiscipline engineering resource for Engineering & Construction projects.
