We’re seeking dedicated and compassionate Education Assistants within Hemel Hempstead to support neurodivergent young people on a one-to-one basis in their family home and the wider Hertfordshire community.

About the Role:
As an Education Assistant, you’ll:
* Work closely with the young person to create meaningful and engaging learning opportunities.
* Use low-arousal and low-demand approaches to ensure a supportive environment tailored to their unique needs.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a provision aligned with the young person’s EHCP outcomes.
* Facilitate smooth transitions between activities and support them in overcoming challenges related to anxiety and school-based trauma.
Education Assistant - Key Requirements:
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Available Monday to Friday during school hours and term-time (flexibility for part-time applicants).
* Calm, adaptable, and approachable with a positive and friendly attitude.
* Experienced in working one-to-one with neurodivergent children, particularly those with ADHD or a demand avoidant profile.
