Job Description The Technical Services Team Leader will oversee and lead the operations and maintenance team, ensuring the effective implementation of site maintenance activities. This role involves supervising the team in line with organisational policies and procedures, including hiring, training, and conducting staff appraisals. Additionally, they will be responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work while addressing any issues or complaints that may arise. Key Responsibilities Perform supervisory functions in facility maintenance and utility plant operations Review performance and ensure quality standards are met Take corrective action to resolve issues Understand and follow building operation rules Work with Facility Manager for efficient staff utilization Assign tasks for work tickets and preventive maintenance Solve problems within procedural limits Ensure timely completion of PMs and work orders Maintain and organize O&M documents for easy retrieval Review, edit, and maintain SOPs/MOPs/EOPs Keep storage and inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment organised Dispose of broken tools and waste per management instructions Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Practitioner experience in technical services within building services, ideally in FM for financial services, manufacturing, industry, or healthcare Electrical bias required with one of the following qualifications: City & Guilds 2230 Level 3, NVQ 2356/2357, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 AM1 and AM2 City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008) Preferred additional qualifications: Recognised apprenticeship City & Guilds 2394/5 Inspection & Testing JIB Accredited Strong knowledge of work order control and CMMS Experience managing subcontractor/vendor contracts Experience tracking key performance indicators Capacity planning and reporting experience The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
