Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
1. To provide onshore OCTG inspection coverage as required within UK and worldwide.
2. To provide OCTG rig inspection services within the UK and worldwide.
3. To ensure accurate and speedy reporting of facts relating to service visits.
4. Carry out and perform all work in line with defined Field Service Procedures and company quality, environmental and health and safety procedures and standards.
5. Supports the region to operate as a 24/7 centre.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Performs Job Card required tasks such as: OCTG pipe preparation, visual thread inspection, connection make-up supervision, pipe handling supervision, accessories inspection for customers within the UK and worldwide.
2. To provide OCTG offshore inspection coverage within UK and Worldwide.
3. Conducts Field Service inspection services as per Field Service procedures, running book and customer site specific instructions.
4. Will be required to travel worldwide and at short notice.
5. To provide and record safety toolbox talks held with labour or sub-contract personnel.
6. Prepare and issue interim customer reports on time.
7. Updates the Field Service online database with job report data.
8. Obtains signed service tickets by customers from operations.
9. Conducts business in compliance with all company policies (code of conduct & ethics, safety, environment, travel and expenses etc).
10. Ensures quality of service work leading to customer satisfaction.
11. Participate as required in continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Responds to technical questions from customers on products and connections.
13. Authority to accept or reject connections and/or make-up of joints at customer sites.
14. Provides consultancy for troubleshooting or product integrity investigation when required.
15. Identify where corrective action is required and take appropriate action where necessary.
16. Proposes new amendments to Field Service procedures.
17. Supports operations for new services, new products, new digital services.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
1. Working experience or further education after high school is required.
2. Oil and gas experience is required.
The following is not exhaustive and may vary:
1. Assembly Make-ups.
2. Rig Ready / Rig Returns inspections.
3. Rig Service.
4. Remote Graph Reviews.
5. Witness Pressure Testing.
6. Perform Yard Inspections.
7. Required to meet the minimum requirements to have a competency assessment performed.
8. LTR - Level 1 or 2 (if applicable).
9. OPITO Internal Assessor / Internal Verifier.

12. The role requires knowledge, understanding and application of Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and Safe Working Practices, Company Environmental Policies and Procedures and the Company’s Quality Policy and Standards and Quality Management System.
