Have you worked in Early Years before? Have you missed the joys of seeing young children grow?
Come and work with us at Barton Moss Nursery! We are part of a government funded pilot to help boost the early years workforce. We are offering £1000 for recruits new to Early Years or returning to Early Years (T&C apply).
Barton Moss Nursery is one of Salford’s 5 fantastic local authority nurseries and is looking for competent, resilient, patient, and dedicated early years practitioners. We pride ourselves on looking after our staff and children. We offer a range of hours that may vary depending upon location, but we do ask that you are available to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Although you are applying for a role at Barton Moss Nursery, on occasions, you may be asked to cover at one of our other settings located in Belvedere, Higher Broughton, Little Hulton, and Winton.
We are looking for staff who meet the following criteria:
* Have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.
* Have the ability to laugh at jokes, even those that you may not find funny.
* Be able to be the best at everything you do; for example, if you are asked to be a pirate, you will be the best!
* Be able to sing out of tune and in front of a crowd of eager people.
* Be prepared to convincingly pretend to eat playdough.
* Be content in the fact that our only cup of tea all morning might be a pretend one.
* Have the ability to read a story with many different voices.
* You must be prepared to have lots of fun during the day; lots of laughter is a guaranteed outcome.
* You must be up for a challenge and able to work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same.
* You need to be resilient, hardworking, and a good team player who can build positive relationships with children and families from a wide range of backgrounds.
* You must be prepared to feel loved, special, and important to many young children and their families. There is no other job quite like this one!
If you feel you meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you!
You will be expected to promote an inclusive environment that is warm, welcoming, and stimulating in order to encourage the development of children to ensure they reach their full potential. You will implement the Early Years Foundation Stage and contribute to the development of plans to support the delivery of individual learning programmes for children. You will receive hands-on experience, and your own skills and experience will be a valuable asset to the team.
We do ask that you have a relevant Early Years Qualification at a minimum of Level 3. We will consider Level 2 applicants, should you be willing to complete your Level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship route.
