Job Description
Purpose of the role
We are looking for the network engineer to join our global network infrastructure team. This position will be based at our UK site and support our UK campus / EMEA Data Center for any network-related issues. This position will also support any global projects deployment in the EMEA region as the primary network resource.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* EMEA Network Operation Tier 4/5 escalation
* Support any IT or Business Projects in EMEA region.
* UK Site user network issue/EMEA DC network support.

* Proven work-related experience in configuration of OSPF, BGP, Layer 7 Firewalls, and VPNs.
* Understanding and experience working with: Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Quality of Service (QoS), Domain Name System (DNS), Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Network Address Resolution (NAT), and DHCP.
* Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various router and switch technologies such as Cisco iOS and Nexus environments.
* Experience with core switching using Ether-Channel, virtual port channels, and virtual device contexts.
* Experience with Cisco WiFi or 802.11AC wireless deployment.
* Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve problems is essential.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Knowledge with network management tools and protocol.
* Data Center experience (fibre and copper cabling system, power management, etc).
* Valid Cisco CCNP or above certificate on routing/switch.
* Arista switch experience is a plus.
